There are going to be a lot of different opinions on this story. To be honest, if this kid is on the football team at TCU and is one of their better players, he certainly shouldn't be worried about pushing weight. But how big of bullshit is all the stats and figures TCU officials and police brought out? like come on now.
"We expect more of our student, faculty and staff and that's the message we've give them today," Boschini said. "And 99.9 percent of the students here do the right thing and we want to make sure the ones that don't aren't at TCU." - Head Coach Gary Patterson
99.9% of kids at a college don't do drugs....? Coach, your schools mascot is a Big Purple Frog. There is definately a good amount of people at TCU who indulge in some reefer.
"According to the warrant, Brock said that he wasn't worried because there would be about 60 people being screwed." Brock is alleged to have said that he and Horn had looked over the TCU roster and concluded that only about 20 players could pass the test." - ESPN.com
If this kid is saying this...and apparently you claim him to be the leader in this apparent drug trafficking scandal at Texas Christian University...and only FOUR kids are arrested and punished? This whole thing does not make sense to me, obviously there is more to the story, more people deserved to get punished. But props to this kid for taking the bid for his teammates.
