Top Sports Movies of All Time

So today in class, our assignment was to come up with the top 5 sports movies or films of all time. This got me to thinking what mine really were. I think I've seen enough to come up with a reasonable list. Then I realized how hard it was to narrow it down to just 5. Here it is though, my top 5, with the ones that  almost made the cut below.

1. Friday Night Lights
2. Four Days in October
3. Fab Five
4. Rudy
5. Hoop Dreams

Almost: Unguarded, Pony Excess, Once Brothers, The Longest Yard, Remember The Titans, and lastly Dodgeball.


How can Friday Night Lights not be #1? Seriously, If you don't watch that movie on the edge of your seat, you do not have a pulse. Every single time Mike Winchell goes for the touchdown at the end of the state championship game, I still think one of these times he might get it. However, Odessa-Permian always seems to lose...

If you are a true sox fan, Four Days in October has to be on there.
